I-Behavior Named New York’s Second Fastest Growing Technology Company in Deloitte’s Fast 50 Program
Tuesday, November 02, 2004

Harrison, New York, November 2, 2004 — I-Behavior Inc. has been named the second fastest growing technology company in Deloitte & Touche’s Technology Fast 50 program for New York. The program ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies headquartered in the region. Rankings are based on growth in fiscal year revenues over five years (1999 to 2003).

I-Behavior provides data-based targeting services to companies engaged in direct channel marketing. The company’s approach to identifying high-potential prospects is built on the premise that past purchase behavior is the most powerful predictor of future purchase behavior. The “behavior” in I-Behavior sums up the company’s strategy for helping marketers boost efficiency and profits.

To get the most from its behavioral data, I-Behavior created proprietary systems from the ground up to support behavioral predictions. I-Behavior is the first major database provider able to capture and leverage client purchase data down to the level of individual SKU’s – the true building blocks of consumer transactions. With nearly 1,000 companies contributing data on over a billion direct channel buying transactions, the I-Behavior Co-op is by far the largest SKU-level database on the market today.

“To rank on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth over five years. I-Behavior has proven to be one of the fast-growth success stories in New York, and we applaud their success and vision,” said Ed Moran, Director of Deloitte’s New Product Innovation and Leader, Nanotechnology Industry Practice. “We applaud the successes of I-Behavior and acknowledge their place as one of the few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past five years.”

"We are honored to be recognized by Deloitte for our strong performance and growing revenues," said Lynn Wunderman, President and CEO of I-Behavior. “Our technology has proven tremendously scalable while also delivering solid results for our clients, and that’s what’s really driving our growth.”

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1999 and $1,000,000 in 2003, must be public or private companies headquartered within New York (five boroughs), Rockland or Westchester Counties. They must also be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues (using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify); and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.

I-Behavior also qualified as one of 25 Rising Star winners in Deloitte’s national Technology Fast 500 Program. The Fast 500 program ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology companies based on revenue growth over five years (1999–2003). Its Rising Star ranking for younger companies is based on revenue growth over three years (2001–2003).
