Deloitte & Touche Unveils Annual Ranking of Fastest Growing Technology Companies in New York City Area
Friday, September 26, 2003

New York, NY – September 26, 2003 – Deloitte & Touche announced the rankings for the 2003 New York Technology Fast 50, the firm’s annual ranking of the 50 fastest growing companies in New York City area. For the second year in a row, top honors were awarded to LinkShare Corp., an online marketing system based out of New York City, which achieved a revenue growth of 26,268 percent over the past five years. Second place went to last year’s runner-up Register.com, which achieved a revenue growth of 7958%. The awards were presented at a dinner held last night at the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park in New York City.

“LinkShare’s and Register.com’s accomplishments over the past five years certainly are impressive, especially when considered in the broader context of today’s generally tepid technology marketplace. I believe these companies are indicative of the generally improving technology environment in New York for technology companies and proof positive that technology will remain a driving force in our economy, and will give rise to the great companies of the future,” said Larry Wizel, Partner in Charge of the New York Fast 50 Program. “We congratulate all of these companies for their tireless drive towards excellence and for creating jobs, opportunity and growth in the New York marketplace.”
